My family and I have this tradition to go to The Waterman’s Farm Pumpkin Patch each year. This is always an excellent time for a photo op so I grabbed the camera and we went on our way. I didn’t want to spend to much time taking photos but instead enjoy my time with my family, however I was able to snap a few “keepers” along the way. The whole photography thing is still new to me but I enjoy taking photos anyways....

I snapped this picture of my son at my cousin’s wedding over the weekend and I thought it worked well. I didn’t have him doing any posing, I just let him play and followed him around with my camera. Sometimes the most candid shots can turn out really well. I think the slightly blown-out background and the lighting on his face really makes this picture. This is the only picture I really liked from the set of pictures I took over...
